This original version of the story is the inspiration for the new project, and many aspects are or will be reused in this new longer project. I'm leaving this original version up for anyone who's curious to explore the original issue, but the new version will be infinitely better, and i'm so excited for it!
Flying saucer video, a local dvd rental store, is going under! The store has been converted into a final sale dvd store to get rid of its remaining inventory before the store shuts its doors, and its employees are terminated.
Franky, a pathetic, bisexual mess of a young woman, has crushes on all of her coworkers, and strong feelings about physical media. can she find a way to preserve the store's library, and her complicated web of relationships, before time runs out?

I read through this and then went to check out the webcomic. I really enjoyed them both, and enjoyed comparing them and seeing what changes were made.
